Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup nondairy creamer
- 4 slices Texas Toast Bread
- 2 tbsp. butter
- ½ tsp. all spice
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. turmeric
Instructions
- It is important we have very dry bread. To speed up the drying process with fresh bread, start the oven at the lowest temperature at 170 ℉. Transfer Texas Toast bread on a cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes. Remove and set the toast on a wire rack.
- Time to make the egg mixture! Combine the eggs, nondairy creamer, allspice, cinnamon, and turmeric. Pour into a casserole dish along with the bread and allow the bread to soak in those flavors for about 10-15 minutes.
- Heat a large pan on medium-heat. Transfer the bread to it and cook each side for about 8 minutes. Make sure that the pan is covered to ensure that the toast is fully cooked.
